Introduction of Drum Wood Chipper Machine
The drum chipper is the special equipment for producing the perfect chips. It is used in paper plants, particle board plants, fiber-broad plants, chip production and export bases. By which, the logs and small wood are cut into high quality with even length and uniform chip thickness.
It is also suitable for chipping of branches, twigs and planks. Cutting the main raw material of small diameter wood ,timber harvesting ,processing residues (such as branches ,twigs, slab, the log core veneer , waste),can also be used for cutting non-wood raw materials (such as sugar cane , reed , bamboo etc).
The chip length is different in accordance with the requirements of paper plants, particular broad and fiber-board industries. In order to meet this need, we have improved different kinds of drum chippers recently, and the new type machines have more advantages.

Structure and Operating principle:
Drum wood chipper is composed of feeding system, chipping system, outlet system and control system. The raw materials will become final needed wood chips as the following steps:
Feeding conveyor---Force feed roller---Chipping---Outlet conveyor
1.Force feed roller have large amount of teeth around the roller. The raw materials will be forcefully pushed into the chipping system.
2.Chipping system consist of knife drum, bed knife assembly and sieve mesh. There are different quantity of knives ( 2-12 pcs ) installed on the drum for making different size of wood chips. The length of the wood chips is customized accordance with the requirement of different industries.

Drum wood chipper raw materials: logs, branches, veneers, waste veneers, bamboo, cotton stem and other non wood fiber stems. These raw materials can be cut into wood chips of different specifications at one time, these chips can be used as the basic raw material for making particleboard, fiberboard, non wood-based board and pulping and papermaking.
